The Living Garden® is an award winning live performance company produced by
2nd Nature Productions, Inc. with offices in Florida and California.

The Living Garden® performances have a high visual impact resonating in the realm of beauty and mystery. It is movement based, but character driven creating a unique niche in the entertainment world.

Currently, the act DiVine, the elegant 9’ tall vine-woman, can be seen daily at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® in FL and The Gaylord Opryland® Resort in Nashville.

The performances of The Living Garden are enjoyed in a broad spectrum of areas within the entertainment world including private parties, corporate events, trade shows, botanical gardens, zoos, theme parks and resorts.

The Living Garden® has been seen at events across the USA and Internationally, including The Grammy’s®, Russell Simmons’s “Art For Life” fundraiser, and the “Just For Laughs” festival in Montreal, where we received the Coup de Coeur (Peoples Choice Award).

About The Living Garden®

History

In 1996 the first representation of The Living Garden ® bloomed in New York City and quickly grew in popularity through out the United States. In 1999, Priscilla Blight, founded 2nd Nature Productions, Inc. continuing the growth and success of The Living Garden® . A year later, Wes Holden was contracted to help design and build The Living Fountain. Since this time, Mr. Holden has joined Ms. Blight as a partner in 2nd Nature Productions. Together they continue to expand the 2nd Nature Productions family of fine performers, characters, and clients into a successful company that continues to grow. Headquartered in Orlando, Florida with offices in San Diego, 2nd Nature Productions continues to book The Living Garden® performances at private events, conventions, theme parks, botanical gardens, and zoos both domestically and internationally.

Priscilla Blight, President /Creative Director

Originally from New Zealand, Priscilla has traveled extensively in Asia, Europe and the USA. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from, The University of Canterbury in New Zealand, and although her primary field of interest lies in the visual arts, she also has a background in dance and theater. In 1989, Priscilla represented New Zealand at the World Expo in Brisbane, Australia as part of the Stalker Stilt Theater, a remarkable and renown company that combines yoga, acrobatics, martial arts, and mask work into a unique dance form on stilts. Her performing took her to Japan where she studied Japanese puppetry with the prestigious Japanese puppet company Hitomi-Za. During her four years in Japan she also studied Butoh, a highly visual dance form, with one of the original inceptors Kazuo Ono, regarded by many as the “Soul of Butoh”.

Over the past ten years She has been living and creating in New York City, Florida and now currently resides in San Diego California where she continues to explore , develop and refine new and existing work with her wonderful team of performers and artists.

Wes Holden, Vice President

Originally from Upstate New York, Wes has been an actor/musician/dabbler-in-the-arts for most of his life. He was a founding member of “Theatre in the Ground” an improvisational comedy troupe that has performed extensively through out the USA. While living in Chicago, he directed industrial films, created music and performed in various theatrical productions. Wes moved to Orlando in ’93 and performed as an improvisational actor at Disney and various local theaters while earning an A.S. degree in Film Production where he worked on a number of films in Florida and LA as an on-set sound mixer and lead-man in the art department. His interest in photography and computer graphics along with his technical sensibilities and Priscilla’s artistic talents have made for a vital, creative and exciting partnership.
